Scripture Focus

Joshua 6:20 (NIV)

“When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, they shouted…

and the wall fell down flat…”

Shout… and watch the walls come tumbling down.

The story of Joshua and Jericho reminds us that God is working

on our behalf—from the beginning to the end. God is in control.

When Moses passed the torch of leadership to Joshua, God spoke

clearly—be strong, be obedient, and trust that He would fight for

him.

Joshua 1:7

Zechariah 4:6

Joshua, a faithful follower, was chosen to lead.

And yet, the instruction didn’t make sense.

Walk around the city once a day for six days. Blow the trumpet…

and remain silent.

No visible progress. No immediate results. Just obedience. Then on the seventh day… everything shifted.

They walked seven times… and then they shouted.

And the walls came down.

Rahab—the one who believed—was spared. She recognized what

others feared… and trusted God anyway.

God remembered.

So don’t let what you don’t see… make you question what God

said.

Keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep obeying.

And when the moment comes…

DON’T WAIT UNTIL THE BATTLE IS OVER… SHOUT NOW.

Reflection

What has God instructed you to do that you’ve delayed because

you haven’t seen results?

Prayer

Lord, help me to trust You even when I don’t see immediate

results. Strengthen my obedience and give me the faith to act

when You speak. Teach me to walk, wait, and shout in alignment

with Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
